During the Configuration and Prototype phase, we gave life to the business process design workbooks the project team and system member SMEs built during the Architect phase. These workbooks were our guide books for configuring step-by-step process flows, business roles, reporting, and legal and regulatory requirements needed for our Workday solution.
In addition, we worked to unplug our current HR, payroll and benefits solutions as we installed and configured our initial Workday prototype. Integrations to our remaining A&M System solutions and partners were developed to plug-in Workday for sharing information and keeping our business processes running smoothly.
We built two prototypes during this phase that allowed the functional team and system member SMEs to interact with our Workday solution. The functional team and our member SMEs were also to interact with our final solution during testing.
