Below are the companies that are helping the A&M System successfully implement Workday.
Our Software Partner –
Workday provides unified finance, human resources and student, faculty and staff lifecycle management cloud applications designed for the way people work in today’s organizations. We believe a new experience is coming to the A&M System – one that is modern, focused on users and streamlined, with common business processes across the A&M System.
It took almost 10 months to announce, post, evaluate and select a replacement for our legacy HR and payroll systems. During that time, over 500 employees from Payroll, Human Resources, Finance and Information Technology helped develop software requirements and reviewed software solutions. Workday was the first choice of more than 89% of employees who attended the software demonstrations in January and February of 2015.
Our System Integrator Partner –
Deloitte provides industry-leading audit, consulting, tax and advisory services to many of the world’s most admired brands, including 80% of the Fortune 500. Deloitte employees work across more than 20 industry sectors with one purpose: to deliver measurable, lasting results. As a member firm of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, Deloitte US is part of the largest global professional services network. Deloitte’s Human Capital services leverage research, analytics and industry insights to help design and execute critical programs from business driven HR to innovative talent, leadership and change programs.
After a 4 month process to announce, post, evaluate and select a systems integration partner, the A&M System has selected Deloitte as our integration partner and the team has been meeting to plan the first 3 months of work.
Our Independent Verification and Validation Partner –
Grant Thornton will act as an independent advisor to help access risks and review deliverables across the entire Workday project. This oversight allows the project to identify differences quickly and helps the project team align our Workday implementation with agreed-upon expectations.
